ScotGrid

27 August 2004: New ScotGrid website and logo launched

Logo represents interaction of Particle Physics and Bioinformatics, link to GridPP

The ScotGrid project has relaunched its website with a new design, coinciding with the start of the GridPP2 project.

The redesign has consolidated the content of the old ScotGrid site, and provides a platform for expanding the information and services used within the project via the web.

New Logo

The new ScotGrid logo is derived from the recently-launched GridPP logo, but with the addition of a colour matrix. The logo represents the Scottish Grid Service providing computing power via the Grid for end-user scientists. Bioinformatics is represented by the results of a coloured gene test micro array and particle physics is represented by jets of particles from an event.
